Vaccination from Humane Society killed our Yorkies

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
In one of the money collecting drives they vaccinated my 3 month puppies with lethal dosage of vaccines. fund drive on weekend for humane society, large number of vaccines for their weekend money collecting drive no warning and no knowledge from volunteers of the dangers of two vaccines in a single day for very small dogs it is a death sentence. Both puppies died of dehydration, diarrhea, and vomiting during the period of 5 days. Dogs were taken back by Humane Society for disposal. Humane Society Location never told us the danger in multiple vaccines. We looked up on line for answers and found the reason for their death. The humane society veterinarians should have known of these issues, we depend on the veterinarians for advise. here vaccine is one size fits all. Only volunteers with veterinarian stamp seal. Negligent, tax free institution.

The Humane Society euthanizes more animals than any other organization. Perhaps you mis-understood and took part in this side of their "services?"

pets became infected at humane society !! went in to have gizmo spayed , two day later became ill . took him back in and told us it was very good chance he had kennel cough. that it is very common for pets to leave their clinic infected with this !! wish they would have said that up front!! i would have chose a different place. please if considering using the humane society take extra precautions before entering this clinic. we were not warned about the dangers that hide behind their doors . and they definitely are not going to tell you . they need your MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry, no, it is not common to have kennel cough if proper care is taken. Kennel cough outbreaks are costly because multiple dogs have to be treated with antibiotics, and so facilities do their best to contain it and treat it.While it is a common illness, it should not be so common that it happens all the time or is easily spread to outside animals.

And they DEFINITELY should have informed you ahead of time. Not after your dog got sick.

Anyone with a brain KNOWS that kennel cough is extremely common in places like that.

Humane Society of the United States Scam Fraud

The Humane Society of the United States is full of liars and scam artists. I signed up to be a member thinking they were doing good things for abused animals but boy was I wrong and soon regretted it. They called me every day, at all hours of the day asking for money. They emailed me so much I had to start sending their stuff to spam in the hopes it would stop. I couldn't believe how aggressive they were in their fundraising. I contacted my local humane society asking why I was being pursued like this and they informed me they have no affiliation with the Humane Society of the United States. I was astonished! They told me the Humane Society of the United States is not associated with any local humane society although they profit off the belief that they are. They don't give a penny of their donations to local rescues or shelters. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I did some research and from what I found feel really *** that I fell for their commercials and advertising. What a scam they are! I found tons of information about how they are being investigated by Congress and the IRS for how they use their donations which apparently is barely for "animal welfare". They pay huge salaries, massive retirement benefits, and spend a good portion of the donations on lobbying efforts in D.C. I found lawsuit after lawsuit where they tried to sue local businesses and organizations they accused of being cruel to animals while it was just a front to further their beliefs. They are even being counter sued by one of the company's they wrongfully accused. I will make sure to give my money to reputable rescues from now on. Don't believe a word the Humane Society of the United States says.

I had a similar experience with this organization. I got sucked in by their ads on TV, and their celebrity spokespeople.

I read about them on several websites. And read more deeply on their website. They only list 4 staff members for their animal rescue squad, for example.

I wonder if Kaley Cuoco knows how little of the funding is used to help animals.

And if she knows about the high salaries and lobbying funds. Or that HSUS promotes animal rights, meaning no animal ownership, no use of animals in research and all of us becoming vegetarians.

Not animal welfare which allows for pets, etc. And promotes reduced and humane use of animals in research so humans can benefit.

I am taking this complaint as hearsay. I've donated to the Humane Society of The United States and they have NEVER been aggressive in emailing or calling.

In fact, they send me address labels and blank greetings cards and such as thanks for my donations. I'm afraid you may have gone to a bogus site.

Lies they tell us ...

I was a member of the Humane Society, sending their organization $100.00 per month since their television commercials tell us they rescue animals from their abusers. They do not. I called them to rescue the dog next door who was being beaten consistently by a mentally challenged girl (whose parents never intervened on the animal's behalf). I was told by the woman to call the local animal control center instead. I quit donating to the lying organization. The dog died. I'm definitely a pissed off consumer! :( Please ignore the TV ads where the Humane Society asks for donations! They *lie!*

Humane Society of the US in it only for the Money

Have found that Humane society of the United States (HSUS,) HQ in Washington DC, uses professional phone solicitors. Those solicitors are extremely rude. Received calls from them 3-4 times a day, many times as late as nearly 9 PM. With caller ID and special ring tone, we just do not answer phones unless we know who it is. Contacting HSUS did not stop the calls at all. In fact they started calling only late at night. When I got sick of it and answered the phone, the solicitor's attitude was that you "gave" us your phone number when you donated and we have every right to call you. Heavens, yeah, all day, every day for weeks. Do not donate, and if you do, don't give them your phone number. Also, HSUS sells your information to dozens of other charity too.

I got caught up in the same scam with the Humane Society of the United States. They troll the internet for people with sad animal stories, reach out like they want to help, only to turn around and harass them for donations.

I've heard of this happening to a lot of people. I did some research and found the HSUS is not what they make themselves out to be. They are being investigated by Congress and the IRS regarding their lobbying efforts and use of the donations they receive.

They are even being sued under the RICO Act. Just do a Google search for hsus fraud and you will see what I mean.

The Humane Society Miami injured my dog they refuse to pay the vet bills

I brought my female dog to the Humane Society Miami to be spayed, when I picked up my dog later that afternoon my dog was undergoing severe pain when held, doctor stated that she would be fine in a day or two. Days later my dog was not able to walk and would not eat, again I brought her back this time doctor examined the dog and suspected an injury of some kind and recommended to see a private vet. I contacted a private vet and after thorought examination found my dog had severe muscle inflammation and recommended steroids he stated that perhaps the dog was held by the neck too hard during the spaying. I contacted The Humane Society/Miami to request an explanation, agreed to pay the bill after they see the X-Rays and the bills, after waiting days for a response I contacted HSM they responded that I should seek counsel.

Yes. Get a lawyer.

Sue the cr@p out of them. They should be helping animals, not injuring them.
